FCO Student Membership
In addition to its general membership, FCO is organized into student chapters at schools and colleges of optometry. Some have faculty advisors who are members of FCO, but most meetings and activities are student-led. Students meet for fellowship, Bible Study, prayer, mission training, and other purposes, as well as participate in a variety of mission and ministry projects on their campuses and in foreign countries. For more information about FCO student chapters, contact Kyle Cheatham at Kylemarkcheatham@yahoo.com.
There are four requirements for membership:
  • Acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as one’s personal Saviour and Lord.
  • Written acceptance of FCO’s Statement of Beliefs and Statement of Purposes as described in the FCO, International Bylaws.
  • Conduct consistent with Biblical standards.
  • Maintenance of professional competency, good academic standing, and personal and professional integrity.
